The Dow Market Happenings For Tuesday, September 11, 2018

Dow stocks at 52 week highs include American Express (AXP), Home Depot (HD) and Merck (MRK). There are no Dow stock 52 week lows.

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open down -126 points.

Monday the Dow was down -59.47 (-0.23%) at 25,857.07.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +4.60%.

There were 13 Dow stocks up Monday.

The Dow stock winners Monday were led by Nike (NKE) +2.24% and Home Depot (HD).

The Dow stock losers Monday were led by UnitedHealth (UNH) -3.19% and Boeing (BA) -2.12%.

Nike (NKE +2.24%) was upgraded to ‘Buy’ from ‘Hold’ at Canaccord Genuity with a price target of $95.

European stocks are mostly lower and Asian markets ended mostly lower.

The national average price of gasoline is down four-tenths of a cent at $2.843 per gallon.
