DJIA Market Happenings For Thursday, March 1, 2018

Dow stocks at 52 week highs include Apple (AAPL), Boeing (BA) and Cisco (CSCO). Dow stock 52 week lows include Procter & Gamble (PG).

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open down -39 points.

Wednesday the Dow was down -380.83 (-1.50%) at 25,029.20.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +1.25%.

There was 1 Dow stock up Wednesday.

The Dow stock winner Wednesday was United Technologies (UTX) +0.62%.

The Dow stock losers Wednesday were led by Caterpillar (CAT) -4.11%, DowDupont (DWDP) -2.85%, UnitedHealth (UNH) -2.74% and General Electric (GE) -2.69%.

The Dow Jones industrial Average on Wednesday closed out a volatile February with another wild day. The 30 blue-chip stocks dropped 380 points, finishing down 1.5 percent on the day and down 4.3 percent for the month.

European stocks are lower and Asian markets ended mostly higher.

The national average price of gasoline is up one cent at $2.540 per gallon.
