The Dow Market Happenings For Friday, January 26, 2018

Dow stocks at 52 week highs include Goldman Sachs (GS), JPMorgan (JPM), Coca Cola (KO), 3M (MMM), Nike (NKE), Travelers (TRV), Verizon (VZ) and Wal-Mart (WMT). There are no Dow stock 52 week lows.

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open up +36 points.

Thursday the Dow was up +140.67 (+0.54%) at 26,392.79.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +6.77%.

There were 21 Dow stocks up Thursday.

The Dow stock winners Thursday were led by Boeing (BA) +2.52% and 3M (MMM) +1.89%.

The Dow stock losers Thursday were led by Apple (AAPL) -1.79% and General Electric (GE) -1.58%.

Intel (INTC -0.46%) rallied more than 3% in after-hours trading after it reported Q4 revenue of $17.05 billion, much better than consensus of $16.35 billion.

European stocks are higher and Asian markets ended mostly higher.

The national average price of gasoline is up seven-tenths of a cent at $2.571 per gallon.
