DJIA Market Happenings For Friday, April 28, 2017

Dow stocks at 52 week highs include Disney (DIS), Home Depot (HD), McDonald’s (MCD), Microsoft (MSFT) and UnitedHealth (UNH). There are no Dow stock 52 week lows.

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open up +22 points.

Thursday the Dow was up +6.24 (+0.03%) at 20,981.33.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +6.17%.

The Dow stock winners Thursday were led by Intel (INTC) +1.35% and Home Depot (HD) +1.23%.

The Dow stock losers Thursday were led by Caterpillar (CAT) -1.89% and Dupont (DD) -1.81%.

Intel (INTC +1.35%) fell over 3% in pre-market trading after it reported Q1 revenue of $14.796 billion, below consensus of $14.812 billion.

Microsoft (MSFT +0.65%) fell over 2% in after-hours trading after it reported Q3 capital expenditures of $1.70 billion, below consensus of $2.27 billion.

European stocks are mostly higher and Asian markets ended mostly lower.

The national average price of gasoline is down five-tenths of a cent at $2.403 per gallon.
