The Dow Market Happenings For Monday, February 27, 2017

Dow stocks at 52 week highs include Boeing (BA), Cisco (CSCO), 3M (MMM) and Merck (MRK). There are no Dow stock 52 week lows.

The Market

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to down -10 points.

Friday the Dow was up +11.44 (+0.05%) at 20,821.76.

Year-to-date the Dow is up +5.36%.

There were 20 Dow stocks up Friday.

The Dow stock winners Friday were led by Wal-Mart (WMT) +1.51% and Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) +1.51%.

The Dow stock losers Friday were led by Goldman Sachs (GS) -1.53% and JPMorgan (JPM) -0.88%.

Merck (MRK +0.47%) said its V212 investigational inactivated varicella zoster virus for prevention of shingles met its primary endpoint in a Phase 3 shingles study.

European stocks are mostly higher and Asian markets ended lower.

The national average price of gasoline is unchanged at $2.286 per gallon.
