Monday, the Dow was down -62.13 (-0.38%) at 16,370.96.

Year-to-date the Dow is down -8.15%.

Dow stock losers Monday were led by Cisco (CSCO) -0.91% and Dupont (DD) -0.37%.

International Business Machines Corp. IBM today announced a new IBM Cloud-based service to help automakers turn driver and vehicle data into actionable insights for predictive vehicle maintenance, real-time diagnostics on engine trouble, and to guide drivers to the most efficient traffic routes.

European stocks are lower and Asian markets ended mostly lower.

The national average price of gasoline is down 1.2 cents at $2.322 per gallon. Gas is $2.42 per gallon at the local Gig Harbor Costco.
