DJIA Market Happenings For Wednesday, January 28, 2015

Premarket today, the Dow was indicated to open up +11 points.

Tuesday, the Dow closed up +6.10 (+0.03%) at 17,678.70.

Year-to-date the Dow is down -2.45%.

Dow stock losers Tuesday were led by Microsoft (MSFT) -9.25% and Caterpillar (CAT) -7.18%. Quite a drop!

AT&T (T) rose 2% in after-hours trading after it reported Q4 EPS of 55 cents, right on consensus, and Q4 revenue of $34.40 billion was above consensus of $34.26 billion.

The Boeing Company (BA) reported Q4 earnings of $2.31/share beating consensus of $2.08/share.

European stocks are mostly lower and Asian markets ended higher.

The national average price of gasoline is unchanged at $2.038 per gallon.
