The closed down -71.52 (-0.54%) at 13,126.21. Nasdaq, S&P 500 and Russell 2000 were all down today too.

Gasoline national average broke through the $3.90 per gallon mark rising to $3.911.

On the Dow, leading stock gainers were BAC, AXP, KO, JPM, CSCO, TRV, JNJ, WMT, PG and IBM.

Leading Dow losers were CAT, AA, UTX, DIS, INTC, MRK, CVX, VZ, MSFT and T.

In a Bank of America filing today, it was shown that CEO Brian Moynihan earned $8.1 million in 2011, up from $1.9 million in 2010. I don’t think 2011 was a good enough year to have his pay quadruple, do you?

Annie’s (BNNY), the organic food maker known for its macaroni & cheese (Organic?), closed 90% above its opening price at $36 on its opening day on the New York Stock Exchange. The company priced shares at $19, above the established $16 to $18 range. Annie’s sold 5 million shares for its initial public offering. Jim Cramer was saying this morning that it was still cheap. I wonder though. But then look at YELP.

Tomorrow before the open, notable stocks expected to report earnings include BBY, CACH, CTFO, SEAC, SHAW, SORL, and WOR.
