Market Happenings for Tuesday, March 06, 2012

Pre-market, futures are down as world markets sold off amid economic growth worries in China and Europe. Gainers this morning include LLTC and ABC while losers include CNX, FLR, BBY, FCX and CLF. The Dow is currently down -146.

The Market

Gold and oil are both down this morning.

European stocks are down today after the statistical office of the European Union said the continent’s economy contracted by 0.3% in the fourth quarter, compared with third-quarter growth of 0.1% in the eurozone and 0.3% in the EU. That sounds like recession to me.

Asian markets again ended lower.

We are all saved. Gas price declined three tenths of a cent today.

We are having a pullback.
