The Dow ended the day down -74.17 (-0.58%) at 12,660.46. The S&P 500 was down while Nasdaq and Russell 2000 were up. Also, gold closed up while oil closed down. On to the stats.
For the week the Dow was down -0.5%, Nasdaq +1.1%, S&P 500 +0.1% and Russell 2000 +1.8%.
Year-to-date the Dow is up +3.6%, Nasdaq +8.1%, S&P 500 +4.7% and Russell 2000 +7.8%. My favorite mutual funds PSVIX and ODVYX are up +4.76% and +9.14%. The emerging markets have really taken off (ODVYX). And to think, thirty days ago it was lagging PSVIX.
