DJIA / Market Close for Thursday, June 30, 2011

After the close…

We have DRI down -1.6% and APOL up +3.2% following their earnings reports and guidance.

The stock market advanced another 1% to conclude the second quarter on a strong note, but the effort wasn’t enough to give stocks a quarterly gain.

After the close, notable stocks reporting earnings include APOL, AZZ, CBK, DRI, DMAN, MITL, SWHC and XRTX.

Futures are lower after hours with S&P 500 futures down -0.61 from fair value of 1315.81 and Nasdaq 100 futures down -2.2 from fair value of 2321.40.

Tomorrow before the open, there are no economic reports scheduled to be released.
