After the close...

After the close we had ADI (+1.8%) and LZB (-4.3%) report earnings.

Today we had broad buying in light volume which gave stocks strong gains, but failed to take stocks through a key resistance level.

After the close, ADI, BOBE, CACI, STV, JKHY, LZB and LFT were the notable names to report earnings. Futures are higher after hours with S&P 500 futures 0.45 points above fair value of 1077.35 and Nasdaq 100 futures 1.66 points above fair value of 1820.59.

All ten sectors were in positive territory, led by materials (+2.3%), industrials (+1.8%) and energy (+1.5%).

Tomorrow morning there are no economic reports scheduled to be releasedbefore the open.
